Life Coaching is a powerful alliance between myself and my clients. Top performers can benefit from the enhanced sense of direction and purpose that life coaching provides. In my experience, the differences between those who achieve their goals and dreams and those who don’t are a clear vision, empowering habits, some degree of self-mastery, and taking consistent action. We start the coaching process by getting a clear picture of where you are in your life and what you want to create. With a clear vision in mind we then define your next steps. Focusing on smaller pieces takes fear out of the process. You then start to progress towards your goals while also maintaining a sense of connection, authenticity and emotional maturity.
During our weekly telephone sessions, we’ll discuss the successes you’ve had during the week, challenges you faced and how you handled them, what you are currently working on and how it’s progressing, and what input you’d like from me to keep you moving in the right direction. The key is taking consistent action that is in alignment with your desired outcomes - and as your life coach I can support you in doing just that.
If you are as focused on results as I am, then and let’s talk! I proudly offer an initial session at NO CHARGE TO YOU.
With you, we examine the situation, create a plan of action, and work side by side with the client to resolve whatever stands between you and your true desire for your life. I do not have to be an expert in your personal or business life. The you are the expert in your own business and life. Together, through a structured collaborative effort, a solution will be constructed by asking the questions that lead you to find your own answers. I provide a solid level of accountability through a no excuse policy.
How Is a Coach Different From a Therapist :
A therapist typically works with a dysfunctional person to move them toward functionality. A coach works with a functional person to move them to exceptional. Therapists typically work with people who need help becoming emotionally healthy. They often deal with past issues and how to overcome them. A coach works with functional people to move them to exceptional levels. Coaching is action oriented.
Coaching differs from consulting, teaching, or therapy because it is not focused on giving advice, delivering curriculum, healing dysfunction, or analyzing behavior. The focus of coaching is on guiding you to find your own unique answers. Coaches won’t tell you what to do or what you need to learn. A coach will support you in strategizing solutions, choosing the right direction, building your personal skills, and raising your awareness. Coaching doesn’t spend time in the past; it concentrates on where you are today and how to get where you want to be tomorrow.
